Moral: Never Trust Something You Don't Know
"Oh my gosh Alisha, I can't believe it." "I know, the Cockroaches are coming to town!" The girls shrieked along with several others. "I can't believe it, I can't believe it!" Kaitlin screamed. The Cockroaches were the best boy band in the whole city. And they were coming here!
"I have to get tickets," Alisha said seriously to Kaitlin. "Oh my gosh totally!" Kaitlin agreed. They began walking out of the school hall, leaving the other screeching fans behind. They walked swiftly to Alisha's house, chatting all the while about which Cockroach was the best. As soon as they got to the quaint little townhouse, they ran to Alisha's computer, throwing their bags out of the way. Kaitlin brought up the internet and instanly googled Cockroach tickets.
"Oh no..."
"What's wrong?"
"They're all sold out."
What? But they only announced their tour this morning!"
"I know..."
"I can't believe that many people have already bought tickets, the Cockroaches must be really popular."
"I know..."
"Are you sure there is no way we can get tickets?"
"Wait! There's an ad saying that there are tickets at discount price!"
"Oh my gosh that is totally cool! Check it out!"
Kaitlin clicked on to the vibrantly-coloured ad, and an Ebay webpage popped up.
"Two Cockroach tickets, not needed, found out can't attend concert, discount price!" Kaitlin squealed.
"How much?" Alisha said cautiously, her voice rising an octave in excitement.
"Only $35 each!" The girls danced around each other in glee.
"Let's get 'em!" They shouted in unison.
One Month Later
Kaitlin and Alisha sat on a bench outside one of the cheapest shops in the mall while their schoolmates ran up and down the stores, talking excitedly about what outfits they were going to wear for the concert.
Kaitlin sighed.
"I can't believe it was a con."
"That guy took our money."
"And we didn't even get the tickets!"
"He said it was discount, but it turned out to be $80 each!"
"I can't believe it."

Maths Tips
When you see a question like 10% x 100 = ?, it basically tells you to find 10% of 100. I know it's silly, but reverse the equation llike this:
100 divided by 10 instead of 10 multiplied by 100
So the answer would be ten!
And if you got a question like 100 x 10%, it would be 100 x 10 because 10 is 1/10 of 100! And so the answer would be 1000!
